A mentor's last lesson

Hey there Visionaries!

Writing this from Tucson, Arizona.

The desert is something else out here.

Big sky, dry heat, and the kind of quiet that makes you think.

I came down to honor a man named Dan.

My financial mentor.

My friend.

He passed a few weeks ago, and we flew out to help celebrate his life and make sure what he built keeps going.

Why You Should Care:

  • A man worth knowing: Dan's $30,000 IRS gut-punch turned into a financial education most people never get. I'm passing it on.

  • Beyond The Matrix goes free: A $2,000 program. Now open to everyone.

  • The AI safety fight nobody talked about: While the State of the Union had everyone's attention, something much bigger was happening behind the curtain.

For Dan

I met Dan about four years ago at an Exit and Build event. (Exiting big cities and building in small towns).

You know how you can just tell your in a room with people smarter then you?

Not performatively smart. Actually smart.

The kind of person who has paid for their knowledge in full, with real money and real consequences.

That was Dan.

We started working together, and somewhere along the way he took me and my wife under his wing.

Not to sell us anything.

To actually teach us.

He sat us down and showed us how the money game actually works.

Not just what money is.

How the system around it is designed, and how most people are playing by a set of rules that quietly harvests them while they think they're doing fine.

Dan's own turning point was a $30,000 IRS bill he did not see coming.

That moment cracked something open in him.

He spent the years after that learning every legal tool, every structure, every strategy that wealthy people use to keep what they earn and pass it down.

And then he spent the last few years of his life sharing that knowledge.

To me.

To anyone else who was ready to hear it.

I knew early on that Dan saw an opportunity to pass his legacy through me to people who needed it.

I create systems with knowledge, that’s my superpower.

So I've carved out a dedicated spot for Dan's frameworks inside Beyond The Matrix.

His work lives there now.

That's why I'm in Tucson.

That's who this newsletter is for this week.

Beyond The Matrix Is Now Free

Yeah. Free.

I had this priced at $2,000.

I've had to turn away a lot of people who didn’t think they could swing that number up front.

And I kept looking at the state of the world and thinking: these methods need to spread faster than a price tag allows.

So I made a call.

The content is free.

The community is free.

The only thing you're paying is attention and showing up.

Here's what's waiting for you when you join:

  • Weekly video breakdowns of how these frameworks play out in real life.

  • Guidebooks you can actually use.

  • Custom AI allies built specifically for the material.

  • Access to the Beyond The Matrix community.

  • Weekly live Q&A where we work through the content together.

The program covers 12 sessions across three areas of your life: mental freedom, physical freedom, and economic freedom.

We start with understanding how groupthink works, because until you can see the water you're swimming in, everything else is just distraction.

Dan's financial intelligence content sits in Session 11.

It covers profit-first cash flow, asset protection, being audit ready and minimizing your tax strategy, trust structures, and how to stop funding a system that is actively working to enslave you.

The kind of stuff that makes you realize you've been playing checkers in a game of chess.

Tech Corner: The AI Story That Didn't Make the State of the Union

While everyone had their eyes on the speech this week, here's what was actually happening.

No mass surveillance of Americans. No AI autonomous weapons

The US military used AI. 83 people died in a Venezuela raid. And when Anthropic asked "was it Claude?" the Pentagon threatened to blacklist them.

The Pentagon gave Anthropic, the company behind one of the most powerful AI models out there, a deadline.

Remove the restrictions that prevent your AI from being used for autonomous weapons and mass domestic surveillance, or lose the contract and get labeled a national security risk.

Anthropic has till Friday to answer.

Publicly.

Companies don't say no to the Pentagon. Not out loud. Not on the record.

What they're being asked to strip out is not fine print.

The first restriction: a human must be in the decision loop before a AI weapon engages a target.

The second: the AI cannot be used to surveil American citizens at scale.

OpenAI agreed to remove those restrictions. Google agreed. Elon's xAI agreed.

Anthropic is the last one standing.

If they fold, or get legally forced, the precedent is done. Every AI company after this knows exactly how much resistance the government will tolerate.

This is not a tech bro story you can afford to scroll past.

If these tools get built without those guardrails, the infrastructure will not get dismantled later.

The conversation window is right now, while it's still public.

TheWebb.io is now open to the public. For those of you building toward digital privacy and local AI infrastructure, this powerhouse research tool is the one that matters.

The number that should bother you: 8.1 billion people on earth. Only 0.3 percent pay for AI.

That gap is not closing as fast as the headlines suggest. Which means if you're already using these tools well, you're operating at a level that most of the population has not touched yet.

The question is how far ahead you want to be when that changes.

Today’s Takeaways:

  1. Dan's legacy is now inside BTM: The financial frameworks he spent years building are in Session 11. Go find them.

  2. Beyond The Matrix is free: No price barrier. The only requirement is that you show up and do the work.

  3. The AI safety window is closing: Anthropic is holding the line. The question is whether enough people are paying attention to matter.

  4. 0.3% use AI: You are already ahead. The question is how far ahead you want to be.

The world is moving fast right now and the gap between people who understand what's happening and people who don't is getting wider by the day.

You've read this far. That tells me something about you.

You're already asking the right questions.

Now come get some answers.

Because staying ignorant to what's going on around you is not a choice anymore.

It has a cost.

And that cost gets higher every week you wait.

Dan knew that.

Now you do too.

See you on the inside,
