Paradise & AI: When Success Hits Different

ChatGPT Challenge Goes Nuclear

6min Read | Watch | Listen

Aloha from the Middle of the Pacific!

Picture this: I'm laid out in Kauai, the most isolated landmass on planet Earth, staring up at a sky so full of stars it looks like someone spilled diamonds across black velvet.

Just caught a shooting star that had me feeling like a kid at Disney World.

For the first time, I fully believe I’m on the right path. Like, no doubts. No imposter syndrome. Just the pure, undeniable truth that I’m doing exactly what I’m meant to do.

Meanwhile, back in Washington, it's a frigid 20 degrees and snowing harder than my daughter's determination to avoid bedtime.

Talk about perfect timing to pull the escape hatch, right?

But here's the real plot twist – while I'm out here living my best life, our 28-day ChatGPT challenge just went absolutely bonkers. And I mean BONKERS in all caps, bold, underline, and whatever other emphasis you can throw at it.

Why You Should Give All the Cares:

  • Zero to Hero Story: How crickets turned into a 60+ person stampede (and why failing forward is the secret sauce)

  • Raw Success Story: The moment I finally believed in my own success (and how you can get there too)

  • AI Revolution Updates: Latest GPT-3 model that's making waves bigger than North Shore surfing

From Crickets to Crushing It: The ChatGPT Challenge Saga

Four weeks ago, I launched this 28 ChatGPT Challenge and got nothing but crickets.

Literally ONE person signed up (shoutout to my ride-or-die bestie – you know who you are, you beautiful human).

But instead of quietly quitting like a Netflix show nobody watched, I doubled down.

Got raw.

Got real.

Started building in public and sharing every messy detail of the journey – the doubts, the fixes, the whole enchilada in what I call Authentic Marketing.

And then... BOOM.

The floodgates opened harder than a fire hydrant in July.

First 10 people jumped in (already 10x better than my bestie-only launch).

Then I landed on the Jack Spirko Survival podcast – casual 2.5-hour chat about practical AI use and staying ahead in this crazy world. No biggie, just living the dream.

And suddenly...

I'm in Hawaii, trying to coordinate accountability buddies while my phone's blowing up with sign-ups like it's Black Friday at Best Buy.

Behind the Scenes: The Messy Middle

Real talk? This success thing ain't all $20 smoothies and sunset pics.

Try coordinating accountability partners for 60+ people while AI keeps throwing curveballs.

Spent three hours trying to get AI to match people up perfectly.

Ended up going old school with pen and paper like some digital caveman.

But here's the kicker – sometimes the messy middle is where the magic happens.

Here's the wild part – I'm finally convinced I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing.

You know that feeling when everything just clicks?

When you stop questioning and start knowing?

When impostor syndrome finally shuts its mouth and takes a seat?

That's where I'm at, fam.

And it feels better than an organic shave ice on a hot Hawaiian day.

The Time Zone Tango

Quick story: Day two in Hawaii, I wake up at 4:30am to 60 messages asking "Where's the prompt?"

Turns out, running a global challenge from paradise comes with some... let's call them "growth opportunities."

jumping timezones by two hour will mess with your sceduling.

But we pivoted faster than a tech startup during a pandemic.

Now we're running smoother than a Tesla on autopilot.

Join the ChatGPT 28-Day Challenge (Doors Still Open!)

It’s simple. One AI prompt per day. Less than 10 minutes.
Copy. Paste. Learn. Unlock the magic of ChatGPT.

Spots are still open, but only for a few more days!

Tech Corner

  • OpenAI launched o3 on January 31, 2025, a cost-efficient model optimized for coding, math, and science with faster performance.

  • Alphabet’s shares dropped 8%, wiping out nearly $200B due to slowing cloud growth and AI investment concerns

  • Reports suggest DeepSeek, a Chinese AI chatbot, may secretly transfer user data to Chinese servers, raising security concerns and government bans.

Today’s Takeaways:

  1. Dream Bigger: I hoped for 20 people, got 60+ (and counting) - sometimes your small goals are just your fear talking

  2. Keep It Real: Authenticity sells better than perfection - my "building in public" strategy proved it

  3. Trust the Process: Sometimes you gotta fail forward to fly - from crickets to a full house in four weeks

If I had quit after my first failed launch, I wouldn’t be here, celebrating 60+ people in my challenge, speaking on major podcasts, and seeing real momentum.

Your big break is just one decision away.

Make it.

See you next week,
